My psychotherapy practice aims to help those experiencing problems in living -- in relationships or work -- which may include depression, anxiety, anger, frustrating patterns, or other emotional difficulties. Therapy begins with a consultation during which I will hear what brings you to my office and we try to understand how therapy may be able to help. Once we have concluded our consultation and begin working together, we will meet regularly at the same time or times each week. My practice is centered on listening: I will listen carefully, try to understand, and say things I believe will be useful. Together we will set out to better understand the difficulties that brought you in to therapy, and see how you can live a life of greater freedom and satisfaction. You can read a bit more about my approach to psychotherapy on my Psychology Today profile.
